  The show opened with Ref, Earl Hebner knocking on a door to collect the World Heavyweight Championship title belt from Bobby Roode so that it could be hung up in the air ready for tonight’s main event. Still annoyed at Hulk Hogan for allowing RVD to pick the stipulation for his title shot, Roode rambled on at Earl and asked why Hogan himself didn’t go to collect his belt for the match which he didn’t want. He handed the belt over to Hebner and told him to go hang it up before stating that he’ll have it back real soon.

• TNA Presents Lockdown 2012

  James Storm welcomed us to his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee for this Pay per View. We saw the Cowboy loading his bags in to the back of his pickup truck as he made his way to the Municipal Auditorium for the event. We learnt that this match is no longer business and is now personal for Roode on Impact on Sunday 15^th April and Storm said that the same is now true for him since Roode brought his family in to the feud. He said that the match between them here is the biggest match of their lives.

• Impact Wrestling – 15th April 2012

  

  First we were shown a recap of the events which we have seen unfold over the past few weeks on Impact Wrestling. Highlights were Bobby Roode dragging Dixie Carter over the barrier and into the ring, Hulk Hogan affirming a match between Ken Anderson and Roode in which we saw Roode hit Anderson over the head with a beer bottle just as he did with James Storm and most recently the Bischoff team’s proposal.

  The show began with Eric Bischoff walking down the ramp as the commentators discussed the rules of the aforementioned Lethal Lockdown match. We were reminded that the ODB and Eric Young wedding which we were all invited to will take place tonight. Bischoff has some business to sort out and said that his name will live on. Everybody in TNA seems to have ‘business’ to attend to these days. Bischoff went on the say that he has a team of the most “devastating talent”, before welcoming his chosen wrestlers into the arena.

• Impact Wrestling – 8th April 2012

  

  As the show opened we saw a recap of the General Manager (GM) fiasco involving Sting, Hulk Hogan and Dixie Carter. When the video package finished the camera cut to Sting and Dixie Carter who were stood in the ring with the majority of the TNA roster stood around them on the arena floor.

  Mike Tenay had told us moments earlier that Hogan had called everybody to the ring for the meeting but when Dixie took to the mic she said that she had asked all of the wrestlers to join her to introduce Hulk Hogan, even though he doesn’t need an introduction, to everybody. As he made his way to the ring the Hulkster milked every last drop of the crowd reaction (as he always does). He was handed a mic by Dixie Carter and explained how good it felt to be the GM of Impact Wrestling; he went on to personally thank Sting for having his back and Dixie for giving him his second chance. Hogan, stated that there will be some new segments introduced to Impact and that a few things need to be taken care of starting with the business of Lockdown.

  The show opens with a recap of Victory Road and the aftermath, which looks at the events including Dixie Carter, Bobby Roode and Sting and the handing over of Impact Wrestling as Sting has stepped down as General Manager.
